Ultrasonic cleaning of landing gears, turbochargers, traction systems
Ultrasonic cleaning systems are also applied in the automotive, motorbike and marine engine cleaning sector, during the machining or overhaul phases.
The engine is immersed in the ultrasonic cleaning tank by means of a platform which performs the cycle described below.
When the START command, is given, in automatic mode:
- the platform descends
- the cover closes
- the ultrasonic cleaners are powered ON
- an “up and down” (tilting) movement begins, at the end of which
- the cover opens
- the platform rises again to the loading/unloading position
Significant savings in labour as the ultrasonic cleaning of engines is able to reach the innermost parts, avoiding the need to disassemble any parts.
Cleaning of diesel carburetors and injection pumps during reconditioning or overhaul
In these examples, the tanks are extremely large. We have manufactured tanks with a capacity of 40,000 litres to clean the traction units of trains.
The PZT elements are applied externally using our patented system of soldering and bonding.
One of the sectors where we operate exclusively is the cleaning of wheels and brakes for aircraft.
